This blog is about my thoughts on schools and learning and how we might lead in those spaces. After 20 years of principalship at Opotiki College and Hobsonville Point Secondary School (Foundation Principal) I now operate a consultancy, HMWLead, to support school leaders. I spend my spare time running ultramarathons, listening to vinyl records and keeping an eye on what my family is up to. They all surprise me.

Tibidabo
The Blue Tram that took us up the foothills of Tibidabo
Leigh in front of the view at the base of the church.
View from part way up the church.
A self taken photo from the highest point.
Leigh in front of the church. I climbed to be at the feet of the huge statue of Jesus at the top.
After visiting Barcelona FC we managed the subway to the Blue Tram and then up the Funicular to the top of Tibidabo which is the highest point in the region. The view was outstanding. I then climbed to the top of this awesome church with the last two sections being scary spiral staircases. Leigh did not do this bit.
